Charging and Remissions

In accordance with legislation, the school makes no charge for the majority of activities and services which it provides.

Voluntary Contributions

Sometimes voluntary contributions are requested for specific activities, but a child would never be excluded from an activity if the voluntary contribution was not received.

Charged Items or Activities

Certain activities may incur charges. Examples of this are: breakfast and teatime clubs; some after school sports clubs where there is a cost for specialist coaching; independent extra-curricular activities and holiday clubs run by companies who make a private financial arrangement with parents/carers.

Remissions

In some circumstances the school may not charge an individual for an item or activity for which a charge is being made. This will be at the discretion of the Governing Body and will depend on the activity in question.

School Meals

The school makes a charge for school meals for all pupils in Key Stage 2, except for those who are eligible for Free School Meals.
