St Mary's School was graded as good in its Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS). Church schools throughout the country are inspected regularly and their performance in various areas is judged and graded. We are extremely pleased that St Mary's received good judgments in all areas of the inspection. Please see below see some of the things that the inspector said about our school, or click the link at the top to read the whole St Mary's SIAMS Report.

The exemplary Christian ethos of acceptance, inclusion and supportive collaboration within a spirit of high expectations and aspiration is transforming the individual lives of pupils, their families and staff so all flourish.

St Mary’s School is a supportive family who work as a team every day. It is a very caring and kind community where everyone works towards the same goal.

High expectations and aspirational targets within a nurturing environment enable all to achieve their best. This is because everyone feels they belong and are part of this Christian community and are fully supported to grow in self-belief and confidence.

The school’s vision and its integral Christian values are articulated and lived out by the whole school community so all aspire, believe, belong and achieve together.
