As a school we need to access and store a wide range of data regarding our pupils, parents/carers, staff and others, in order to carry out our duties. It is our responsibility to make sure that we handle this data fairly, lawfully and securely. That's why, in line with the new data privacy law that came into effect on 25th May 2018, we have updated our processes and controls to make sure we safeguard your information and meet these requirements.

 

We take our data protection responsibilities very seriously, so we we will always let you know:

  • what data we are collecting;
  • why we are collecting it;
  • how we will use it;
  • who we will share the data with and
  • how long we will retain it for.
