School Improvement Plan

At St Mary's, we are keen to make sure that our school is improving all the time, so that our children have the best education possible and achieve well, within a happy, safe, learning environment. Each year, the staff and governors agree a School Improvement Plan for the year ahead, within the areas of:

Leadership
Pedagogy and Curriculum
Teaching, Learning and Standards
Wellbeing and Attendance
Christian Distinctiveness

Our current School Improvement Plan covers the, slightly longer than usual, period from May 2021 to July 2022. This allows us to adapt and respond effectively to the changing needs of the children, following the disruption caused by COVID-19. The plan is reviewed each half term and adapted to include any new objectives required up to the end of July 2022.
